A Persian calligraphic lion written in dark brown ink on brown speckled paper, the lion with its head turned to look backwards, within a wide blue/grey margin and black rules -- 10½in. x 14in.; and two calligraphic panels, one interspersed with polychrome flowersprays, the other on mottled pink paper -- 11½in. x 8½in.max, all framed mostly glazed.
