A small Syrian turquoise pottery handled jug decorated to the neck with a continuous line of kufic calligraphy -- 4½.in.high; and another turquoise pottery handled jug and pinched spout, decorated in black with a band of calligraphy to the body between horizontal bands -- 5in.high, both 13th/14th century.
