A large famille rose baluster jar and domed cover with Buddhistic lion finial, later decorated with sprays of lotus, peony and other flowers on a black ground reserved with dense scrolls, a band of vines and tobacco leaves to the foot and ruyi heads and flowers to the shoulder, metal collar and hinge to cover (restored) -- 26in.high, circa 1800.
