An Old Sheffield plate gadrooned quatrefoil cruet on shell and foliate-capped lions paw feet, with a reeded superstructure and shell and foliate-decorated handle, fitted with four octagonal cut glass condiment bottles, two with gadrooned silver-mounts, one engraved with a crest, the other two with ball stoppers, the glass bottles probably replacements, the silvers by Thomas and James Creswick, Sheffield 1818, the pepperette with later plated rim mount - height of cruet 9in.
