A brightly coloured Coptic textile border fragment woven with stylized central roundels of pomegranate and fruit motif, circular red and pink motifs in the field, enclosed by running borders of geometric pattern, framed -- 10½ x 4 1/8in (26.7 x 10.5cm.); and another fragment of wool and linen with central band of green squares and triangles on red background, the lower border of red, blue and green zones, the upper border with three blue parallel lines, framed -- 13¾ x 4 5/8in. (35 x 11.7cm.), both 5th-7th Century A.D. (2)
