A large brightly coloured Coptic textile tunic fragment, an outer band bordered by red vitruvian scroll, showing stylized tree and bird motif alternately on navy blue background, figure with arms held up suspended from one end, central band of stylized flowers on plain linen, framed -- 17 x 13½in. (43.2 x 34.3cm.); a border fragment with central animal motif and two satyrs(?) above and below, snakes in field, on yellow background, framed by navy blue border and white fringe motif; and another similar with central roundel -- 11 x 2 7/8in. (27.9 x 7.3cm.) max., all 5th-7th Century A.D. (3)
