A Derby figure of Minerva modelled standing wearing a plumed helmet, gilt cuirass, a green, orange-lined cape and a dress painted with sprays of flowers, by a mask-moulded shield and a stack of books surmounted by an owl, before a flowering bocage on a scrolling base, enriched in colours and gilt, circa 1765 -- 13¼in. high
