Details
An Arita blue and white pear-shaped vase with tall flaring neck, painted with a continuous scene of figures holding flags and banners in a landscape of rockwork, pine and plantain, the neck with a design of stiff leaves (the porcelain crazed, firing crack around the foot, bruise to rim) -- 12in.high, late 17th century.
