Adams London, the telecope with draw tube focusing and bubble level, mounted in cradle, over vertical half circle, divided in two quadrants 90°-0°-90°, with silvered vernier scale, supported at axis by tapered horizontal trunnion, mounted on twin A-frame supports, over the compass box with edge bar needle, cap and clamp, the compass engraved with cardinal points, the outer dial divided in four quadrants 0°-90°, the two inner scales divided 0°-360°(x2), on revolving plate with engraved vernier scale, the silvered horizontal circle divided 10°-360°, in staff mount with locking screw, with eyepiece extension, in fitted mahogany case - 7½in.(19cm)high
