A Continental late 18th/early 19th century Holy water stoup decorated with beading and scrolls and with cherubs masks and cruifix finial, the shell-shaped bowl supported by an eagle with outstretched wings, the See Plate 4centre applied with a gilt figure within a wreath cartouche, apparently unmarked, probably Italian - 13in., 14.25oz.
