A Louis Philippe bronze and ormolu mantel clock, the rectangular draped case surmounted by volumes and applied with the figure of a cockerel and torcheres, flanked by a semi-naked classical maiden, a filet in her hair, on a marmo rosso antico plinth inset with a frieze of cavorting amorini, on bun feet, the circular white enamel Roman and Arabic dial with twin train movement and countwheel strike on a bell -- 27½in.
