The broken swan-neck pediment carved with flowerheads and centred by a later turned brass ball finial, the frieze fitted with an arched glazed door carved with fluted Cornithian demi-column angles, and enclosing a brass dial, with Roman and Arabic numerals with subsidiary second dial and date aperture, the arch fitted with a moonphase, inscribed High Water at Port Glasgow, the case with an indented shaped rectangular trunk door flanked by further canted fluted Corinthian demi-columns, the panelled base on a plinth with bracket feet, restorations, 85½in. (217cm) high
