A pair of hexagonal baluster vases with flaring necks and mythical fish handles, painted and heavily gilt with coiled dragons among a continuous band of Immortals among rockwork and before buildings, between bands of Shimazu mon on a foliate and geometric pattern ground (slight gilt rubbing) -- 6in. high, wood stands, signed Dai Nihon Hattori.
