A small tapering pear-shaped vase painted and heavily gilt with a rectangular panel of three ladies kneeling in conversation beside a vase of flowers on a table on a dense net-pattern ground, on a ground of scattered flowers including peony, daisy and lilies below a lightly stippled sky, the neck and foot gilt with a shaped panel of stylized kiku heads -- 4in. high, impressed Kinkozan mark.
