A 19th Century gold, rose diamond, pearl and black enamel demi-parure of serpent cluster and panel design, the graduated panel necklace of pearls within a gold and black enamel striped border and hook for suspension of one of the brooch pendants, the main brooch modelled as a serpent entwined around two large pearls, each with rose diamond surmount, the serpent with rose diamond head clasping a branch suspending pearls and rose diamonds, with hook for suspending a further drop, a pair of serpent panels suspending pearls and rose diamonds, each with loop fitting and brooch fitting, and a further serpent panel brooch with large baroque pearl centre and rose diamond decoration, in a fitted case, and with accompanying letter with ownership details, dated 1896, various repairs and damage to enamel throughout.
