A black lacquer five-case inro decorated in iroe hiramakie and takamakie, togidashi, nashiji and inlaid in aogai with bamboo and trailing plants on cane, the reverse with a bird perched on the edge of a water butt above various plants, the interior of nashiji (minor dents and scratches) -- 3¾in.high, pottery ojime and attached wood netsuke carved as an elephant.
