A Chinese cloisonne wig-stand on spreading domed foot and tall waisted knopped stem, the globular top with inset gilt-bronze plaque pierced with stylised scrolling peony, decorated with ruyi heads, scrolling lotus, bats and shou characters on a turquoise ground (some pitting) -- 11¾in.high, 17th century.
