A Chinese bronze tripod archaic globular censer and slightly domed cover with pierced finial and upright handles issuing from the shoulder, inlaid in gold, silver and copper to the lower band with stylised taotie masks, the shoulder with ruyi heads, the neck with confronting stylised dragons and the cover with Buddhist symbols among cloud scrolls within a border of tight scrolling foliate designs (green encrustation overall) -- 8in. high, 17th/18th Century.
