An ebony-inlaid walnut, oak and marquetry tester bed, with moulded cornice, panelled frieze inlaid with stylised scrolling foliage, above a geometrically panelled roof supported by bulbous turned baluster columns to the foor, and with a deeply panelled three-tier headboard between scrolled foliate brackets, similarly inlaid with geometric lines and with a pair of quartered coats of arms with plain panelled lower section, the footboard with urn cappings, including box spring and matress, adapted, lacking cross struts, English, parts 17th century -- 65in. (165cm.) wide.
