An American walnut and brass-mounted patented desk, in two sections by Moore of Indianapolis, with twin galleried top with crocketted finials, the front section with two panelled doors flanked by foliate-carved and fluted uprights enclosing interior fitted with drawers and pigeon holes, the back section opening to reveal extensive interior similarly fitted, with brass slot for letters to one side on plinth base with plaque, Moore's Cabinet Desk. Ind. Patented Jan. 8, 1878, late 19th century -- 60in. (152cm.) wide, 46in. (117cm.) deep, 50in. (127cm.) high.
