An Edwardian mahogany, line-inlaid, satinwood-banded and marquetry desk, the raised superstucture with pierced brass gallery and leather-lined writing surfaced flanked by hinged compartments and fitted frieze drawers with foliate scroll and classical urn inlay above central frieze drawer and arched apron flanked by three drawers either side each with similar inlay on bellflower-inlaid square tapering legs with spade feet -- 48in. (122cm.) wide, 24in. (61cm.) deep, 37½in. (95cm.) high.
