An early Victorian gilt-metal-mounted ebonised tortoiseshell and brass-inlaid jardinere, inlaid overall with scrolling foliate designs, with rectangular detachable lid, metal liner and pierced brass gallery, the waved apron centred by mounts of disporting cupids on cabriole legs with female mask clasps trailing to gilt sabots, restorations -- 29½in. (75cm.) wide, 18in. (46cm.) deep, 33in. (84cm.) high.
