Lot Essay

Edouart cut dulpicates of all his work which is considered to be in excess of 100,000 silhouettes and kept them chronologically in folios. To date 23 of these folios have emerged and 1827 is well documented in these folios. Edouart seems to have spent his time between Bath, Bristol and Cheltenham. The months of September and October, he seems to have spent exclusively in Cheltenham.
