A PAIR OF SOUTH ITALIAN WHITE-PAINTED CONSOLE TABLES
Late 19th Century, possibly Sicily
Each with moulded serpentine bardiglio marble top above a serpentine frieze carved with lion's masks flanked by swags of husks, on cabriole legs and paw feet, redecorated, with traces of an earlier layer of blue decoration the rear horizontal support below top replaced
