A SET OF FOUR NORTH ITALIAN GILTWOOD ARMCHAIRS
Late 18th Century, one probably of a later date
Each carved overall with foliate scrolls and flower-heads, the rectangular panelled back with padded oval, squab cushion and seat covered in light green washed silk, the seat-rail carved with floral entrelac, the serpentine arms terminating in paterae angles, on ring-turned foliated and stop-fluted tapering legs and toupie feet, regilt (4)
