A Vienna-style dark-blue-ground oviform vase with serpent handles, on a cylindrical stand, painted in colours with Cupid in a chariot being drawn by three nymphs, the reverse with Cupid chained to the wrist of a nymph in a contiuous landscape of woodland and buildings, within moulded arcaded and leaf bands, enriched in gilt, blue bee-hive marks, late 19th Century -- 26½in. high
