A cover of pink silk, brocaded in silver gilt threads with a repeating pattern of stylised trailing branches of flowers, the bases worked with carnations and seedpods amongst large cones, with tassels at each corner--100in x 20in., joined, French, probably for the Turkish market, second half of 19th century
