A Japanese rectangular wood and gold lacquer two-fold table screen with bronze mounts, decorated in hiramakie and kirigane with four rectangular panels depicting mythical animals among clouds and waves, including a dragon, a ho-o in flight and a minogame, within borders of stylised cell-patterns and pierced honeycomb cartouches to the tops, the reverse with decorated with interlocking key-frets -- 13.in.high, 17th/18th century.
