A Chinese painted, lacquered and giltwood figure of a standing Buddha dressed in long flowing robes and holding a small shrine in one hand and a vase in the other, before an elongated pierced mandarla decorated with coiled dragons among flames, on a lotus-petal base supported by mythical birds above an octagonal stepped plinth -- 24½in.high overall.
