A Japanese egg shell tea service comprising a teapot, milk jug, sugar bowl, slop bowl and various cups, saucers and side plates, all painted and gilt with legendary scenes, -- the teapot 9in. high; a hexagonal baluster jar and cover painted in green and red enamels with prunus -- 12in. high; a Chinese tea bowl and saucer painted en grisaille in gilt with flowersprays, all 18th and 19th century.
