A late Victorian walnut and burr-walnut davenport, crossbanded overall, with hinged, domed superstructure, leather-lined sloping fall with canted corners enclosing a fitted interior, with four side drawers and opposing dummy drawers on plinth base and turned feet -- 21in. (54cm.) wide.
