The arched cornice with confronting c-scroll and foliate-cast cresting and fitted with a bowed glazed door, painted with a Vernis Martin style panel, flanked on either side by similar glazed and painted panels, the shaped apron on slender cabriole supports, with pierced gilt-metal sabot, headed by foliate-cast clasps, stretching to female portrait mask mounts
