A Chelsea oviform two-handled vase, with flared neck and gilt-metal mounts, painted with a seated Oriental, a parrot in his hand and a young girl at side, the reverse with two exotic birds perched amongst leafy branches, the handles with applied fruit and foliage and enriched in gilding, the mounts chased with scrolls and foliage, gold anchor mark, circa 1765 -- 17¼in. high.
