Presented to Lt P T Rawlings DSC RNVR after the flight to Constantinople and the bombing and sinking of the Turkish destroyer 'Goeben' Nov 1917, and thence by descent.
Lt Rawlings lost his life 26.5.1919 when the Tarrant Triplane he was test flying at Farnborough
