A late 19th Century model single cylinder horizontal mill engine with copper bound wood lagged cylinder 1in bore x 2in stroke, round bar type crosshead guides, barrelled connecting rod and spoked flywheel, metal bed and wood plinth, finished in green, black, varnish and polished brightwork, (restored) -- 6¾ x 10½in(17 x 26.8cm).
