A finely detailed wood and metal th scale exhibition model of a Ford Model 'T' two-seater van of circa 1911, built by D.& R.Ward -- 14½ x 23in (36 x 58.5cm)
Complete with framed and panelled van body with separate floorboards and glazed, opening rear doors with locking bars, working lock and handle, finely planked roof curved over driving compartment, textured seat and backrest, brass lamps, pedals, hand brake lever, boa-constrictor bulb horn and other items. Engine details include carburettor, manifolds, spark plugs and leads, fan, radiator hoses, propellor shaft and differential unit. Chassis details include working leaf springs, working steering, working brake rods to rear brake drums, spoked wheels with rubber tyres and brass hub caps, running boards and wings and brass radiator. Finished in green, black and yellow lining and polished brightwork.
