A cast brass nameplate from the Southern Railway 'Schools Class' 4-4-0 locomotive No.30-932 'Blundell's', in original wood packing case with screws and a copy of the B.R. original bill of sale. --45¼ins (115cm) wide.
The locomotive was built at Eastleigh works at a cost of #5,256 and entered service in February 1935. Withdrawn in January 1961 it was cut up at Ashford works in August of that year. The current owner applied for the nameplate in 1956 and finally received it in November 1963.
