Rangers won their first-ever Scottish Cup by defeating Celtic 3-1 at Second Hampden on 17th February 1894 before 15,000 spectators. Rangers' scorers that day were H.H. McCreadie, Barker and McPherson, with Celtic's solitary reply coming from W. Maley.
