The guitar most closely associated with Prince is the Cloud guitar. In 1983, as the pieces of a low-budget feature film production fell into place, Prince approached local guitar shop Knut-Koupée to build a custom instrument for the movie.[Purple Rain]..Prince had been a regular at the shop for years..
