The above jersey was worn by Freeman during the George Robbie's International Team v. Everton and Liverpool Football Clubs match, played on 25th march 1912 at Anfield under the title of The Liverpool Theatrical Gala Football Match. Amongst the many famous players appearing for Robbie's International Team were John Thomas Brittleton, William John Wedlock and Billy Meredith.
