Lot Essay

F. A. Robinson lived in Kent before moving to Collingham Gardens, South Kensington and later Cobham, Surrey. He worked for the Anglo French Oil Co. in London and was associated with mining in Cornwall and South Africa. The albums include English beach scenes from the 1920s, family portraits and studies of the owner's collections of porcelain.
