Lot Essay

The Hasselblad 70/500 film magazine was produced in a series of 200 pieces, ten of which were prototypes shown at Photokina in 1972. It was designed to give 500 exposures 2¼ inches square when fitted on a Hasselblad 500EL/M, 500EL, 500C/M and 500C camera. This example was a factory demonstration piece and was never sold.
