The above programme represents the last home match by Hull City in the Football League Third Division (North), season 1930-31. The opposition, Nelson F.C. ended the season at the bottom of the division and as such were 'relegated'. However, at the Football League A.G.M. a few weeks later, Nelson failed in their attempt to seek re-election, and therefore this programme represents Nelson's last match in the Football League.
