The Book of Common Prayer, Cambridge: John Baskerville, 1762, 8°, contemporary London red turkey binding, covers with an elaborate border made up of separate scroll work & rose and bird tools, outer gilt ruling, spine in 7 compartments with floral decoration (slightly tarnished, corners a little bumped, extremities lightly rubbed), gilt inner dentelles of varying flower heads, marbled endpapers, headbands of green and white, g.e. [Gaskell 20] Provenance: W. Raikes Currie, M.P. (loosely-inserted manuscript note dated 1881)
