A Victorian five-piece floral and foliate-decorated moulded oblong tea and coffee service on ball feet and with gadroon, shell and foliate everted rims, each engraved with a monogram, the coffee pot, teapot and hot water jug with leaf-capped fluted scroll handles and domed hinged covers with fluted finials, the gilt-lined milk jug and sugar basin with leaf-capped bracket handles - height of coffee pot 10¼in., and a beaded oval two-handled gallery tray decorated with bow and floral swags incorporating vacant cartouches, the ground engraved with vases and swags and with contemporary presentation inscription dated 1884, the centre also engraved with a monogram - length of tray 27¾in. overall, Elkington & Co., Birmingham, the six pieces in a plush and satin-lined oak case with quilted cushion and brass cartouche with presentation inscription.
