A double-sided Deccani-style miniature of a girl dancing on a hillside within a blue margin decorated in gold with stylised flowerheads, within a wide border decorated with irises, the reverse a calligraphic panel written in in black naskh, signed Abdul Rashid al Dahmy, and dated 1040 AH; within a wide grey border reserved with scrolling roses -- overall 14in. x 10¾in., 19th century in 17th century style; and a small miniature of Krishna brushing Radha's hair -- 9in. x 6½in.
