A Cantonese octagonal square tapering bough pot with branch handles and pierced domed cover, painted with shaped panels of dignitaries at leisure on terraces on a ground of squirrels among grape vines, the foot and cover with butterflies and birds among fruit and flowers (one branch missing) -- 10in. high; and a vase with alternating panels of birds and butterflies among flowers and dignitaries -- 15½in. high.
