A rare Brussels lace fan, the leaf worked with the return of a hero, within floral borders, attached to the sticks by four rows of loops at the back, the ivory sticks carved and pierced, with backing guardsticks acting as stretchers - 11in, circa 1730 - in contemporary fan box (both guardsticks damaged, one partly defective, leaf worn at sides)
