A late Victorian pierced cast iron hall-stand, the superstructure with central mirror, surmounted by an arched cresting with central hibernia figure and motto Cad Mille Failte, above a half-round marble surface and frieze drawer raised on central support with vacant shield and grotesque mask decoration, with three diamond date lozenges for 1877 -- 44½in. (113cm.) wide.
