A pair of French porcelain figures of a lady and a gentleman in the style of Gainsborough, both modelled standing, he is wearing a blue cape, jacket with Van Dyke collar and breeches, holding a plumed hat, she is wearing a plumed hat, bodice and a long skirt tied with a ribbon, on scrolling bases moulded with a coat-of-arms above a motto, enriched in gilt (slight wear, minor chips), underglaze blue marks, circa 1900 -- 11½in. high max.
